Maryland NPC Co -Chairman Scott Engle

 

As the co-chairman, I will be working to reestablish Maryland as one of the premier states in the development of elite bodybuilders, figure, and fitness athletes. We want Maryland to once again be known as the state that sends many athletes on to the national level  contests and beyond.

 

I fell in love with weight training at the early age of 10, after receiving my first set of Sears weights.

 

I became “hooked” on lifting, and devoured every muscle magazine  I could to read about my idols and their training routines.

 

I spent my teen years training around the region and competed in local contests. I have continued training with a commitment to the ideals of the NPC. I continue to strive to learn all that I can in every aspect of fitness, training, and health of mind and body.

 

I studied finance at The University of Maryland College Park.

 

I was formerly the president of a large jewelry store in Washington DC. In 2008 I left my families business to work for The Meltzer Group, concentrating my efforts in the fields of life insurance and employee benefits .I work with clients in wealth replacement strategies for estate planning and business owners for buy/sell funding.

 

I bring my background in business and marketing in creating a professional, top class atmosphere to our events.

 

I have been married for 17 years to my beautiful wife and have 2 wonderful daughters.
